I'm Annalissa. Wife, Mama of two, Pelvic Health Physical Therapist, and Pregnancy and Postpartum Certified Exercise Specialist.

I just want stronger feet, but I don’t have diastasis or prolapse…is this still for me?
Absolutely! This is for ANYONE who wants feet that move well and are strong. It was created to help you have functional feet whether you’re a walker, runner, or anything in between.
Will this really help with core and pelvic floor issues?
It truly can! This is a question very specific to each person but think about it…you’re walking around on your feet all day and if they aren’t working right, they affect everything else up the chain, including your hips, pelvis, and core (and more!). If you don’t have proper push off in your feet, you have to compensate somewhere else in the body to get it. When you are walking or running, ground reaction forces are transmitted through the body, and can actually be really beneficial for helping the core and pelvic floor get stronger, but only if the forces happen correctly in the foot in the first place. So yes, this could be the missing piece to the puzzle for you. Check out my program The Balanced Core if you need more specific help with the core and pelvic floor.
Do you recommend doing this along with The Balanced Core?
Yes, yes, yes!!! I specifically created this program to go with The Balanced Core because the feet are so foundational to how the rest of the body responds to exercises. So doing the two together is ideal. It’s especially helpful for runners (it may even help you improve those PR’s) and those who deal with foot pain or issues.
That being said, it can absolutely be done as a stand alone program and will be super helpful no matter what other workouts you are doing. The feet are sometimes a forgotten body part, but when they work well, it’s insane how much better the rest of the body functions.
